Dear Sir/ Madam

I am so sorry for just seeing this important training to my government and my country. I am working as a Senior Official for NGO Department for the government of Kiribati in the central pacific. Although, as I am understand that my government is so desperate in seeking any trainings which are much related to the development of this pre-mature unit and to its personnel for the development of its widen national NGOs and CBOs.

Anyway I am sure that we are very late at this stage to capture the required dead line of this training. Therefore, I would request your office as more trusted for its outstanding position in this field, that if there is any other trainings in future made by your institution and with a financial support, please to help us for such information.

I would be very pleased to inform you that this government is one of the undeveloped country among the UN member countries, thus, needs most of the trainings overseas to enlarge and develop its own human resource in their fullness capability for the development of the country and the community.

Another enquiry if you know other places or institutions which are offering trainings for undergraduate or post graduate studies for the field of NGO Management and Leadership it would be more appreciated from our end here.

As you may notice, that this department is currently run by officers who do not have any field qualification on the NGO Management and Leadership. Thus, most of the issues still coming up to the government to solve and to make any relevant policies which are much assistive to the development of NGOs in order to work more collaboratively with the government for enhancing economic and social development.

As myself as the most senior responsible officer at this department to government I felt more distressed and tiredness with these kinds of challenges. However, it is with my desperate effort try to seek through the internet and other sources can be helpful to my work. My study is the most important thing coming to my head for seeking any opportunity in acquiring my undergraduate degree for this challenging area.

If your needs further information on the request please do not hesitate to contact this e-mail: rm_robati [at] yahoo [dot] com [dot] au (rm_robati [at] yahoo [dot] com [dot] au) for any assistance.

Again thanking you for your good stand and cooperation

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Uriam robati (Senior NGO Dev Officer, Ministry of Internal and Social Affairs – Republic of Kiribati; Central Pacific)

Dear Uriam and anyone else interested in NGO management/governance training,

One of our partners - the Global Development Research Center - offers a web site that includes a listing of many nonprofit management programs around the world.  The link is www.gdrc.org/ngo/ngo-curriculum.html.

Also, I encourage you to go to Resources section in our site and look at the Organizations that are listed.  Many of these groups offer conferences and training.  The direct link is http://ngoboards.org/organizations.

Good luck!
