Dear Hospice Klevor, the motive of the group is to help individuals mostly involved in senior positions in NGOs improve the way their Board works. So if you have a particular question in relation to your Board (membership/ roles/ the way it works etc) then ask it. Someone will send you an answer - which hopefully will be very helpful.

Murray

Dear Richmond,

Welcome to the Global Forum on NGO Governance. There are quite a number of online resources on fundraising that might be useful to you. For starters, check out The Resource Alliance (www.resource-alliance.org), the Assocation of Fundraising Professionals (www.afpnet.org), and, in India, NGOs India (www.ngosindia.com)

On this site there have been some discussions about fundraising and boards that you might find interesting. In the Ask and Discuss area, have a look at the discussion of sources of North American donors (ngoboards.org/community/sources_of_north_american_dono) and fundraising strategy for Good Governance projects (http://ngoboards.org/community/fundraising_strategy_for_good_governance_projects).

Thanks for your interest and good luck! Marilyn

Hi Richard,   Can you please let me know the name of your organisation. I represent a group called MCC based at Bangalore, India, which supports Indian NGOs to communicate their work and raise funds. We would be glad to help you.   Regards,   Mallika
