New Features on the Global Forum on NGO Governance!

Greetings!

We’d like to tell you about some new exciting features on the Global Forum on NGO Governance site!

We have added three new features: a blog, a poll, and news links to other stories on the web about global NGO governance.

1. NGO Governance Blog – we now have a blog on our site! It will feature voices of various experts in the NGO sector who will contribute their opinions and ideas on NGO boards and governance. Marilyn Wyatt joins us as our first blogger. Check out her welcome post here. http://ngoboards.org/community/blogs/meet_your_blogger . Note: if you'd like to receive the blog posts in your email, there is a different type of subscription option. On the blog page, look to the bottom right for a box to fill in with your email and hit submit. Then you will get an alert each time there is a new blog post. You can also go to the site and comment on any of the blog posts.

2. Polls – we will now be taking polls on the site to see how we as a community feel about key NGO governance issues. The poll box is on the home page of the site – if you haven’t yet voted for this month’s poll, vote now! Go to http://ngoboards.org/ , and the poll is in the upper-right section of the home page. If you would like to suggest a question, let us know!

3. News Links - This "News on the Web" feature will offer links to news about global NGO governance that we find on other sites. Again, if you have a pointer to a great news article, let us know. “News on the Web” is also on the home page, under the Poll box and Member Announcements.
