Invitation to Write for Nonprofit Boards and Governance Review
Submitted by Jane Garthson on May 13, 2008 - 13:10.
I am the volunteer editor of Nonprofit Boards and Governance Review, an e-newsletter published by CharityChannel.com. Would some of the experienced members on this forum be interested in contributing an article? This newsletter provides nonprofit leaders and leadership consultants to nonprofits with a means of sharing their knowledge, fresh approaches and keys to success in nonprofit governance. Past authors report that being published at CharityChannel is good long-term exposure for their businesses or careers. You can review all past abstracts at http://charitychannel.com (click the newsletter name on the left side). You have to subscribe ($37 USD) to get whole articles or be a contributor; that gives you full site access. I do not receive any money from CC. I seek original work, of about 800 - 1,300 words, or longer if broken into parts. You retain copyright and are free to publish elsewhere afterwards. You also have the right to authorize reprints (or not). I sometimes make editing suggestions, but authors retain full control of the content. The audience is primarily non-academic and uses a variety of software to read the articles, so avoid footnotes. Humour is very welcome.

Jane this is great to have the cross-connection with Charity Channel! That is a terrific online community. Thanks for bringing it to the community's attention. People are also always welcome to share their writings here - we can cross post them to both communities! It is so important to get this information out there. |

I am glad to be part of the writing. Our fishery NGO had been in for 6 yeras. I can write more like a diary oriented.
What will we do after the writing. Are we getting out of it or not.
Thanks HR
